Content & Connection is officially LAUNCHED in South Bay & We threw a party to celebrate
You may have heard Content and Connection has finally launched in San Diego’s South Bay! We’re so excited to serve our community south of the 54, build relationships and create content together! We were blessed to partner with a new local business to kick off our South Bay launch and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Before I get into the recap, I want to tell you about Sarah, my good friend, Sister in Christ and Business buddy. I have known this incredible mom of 5 since I moved to San Diego in 2014 & let me tell you, this girl is a force. She is a pillar in her community and shows up to bring people together every single day. Sarah is the CFO of her Husband’s Plumbing Biz, The CEO of Freshly Prepped; a local Meal prep, Catering and commissary kitchen and now has added Founder of the Harvest Collective Bonita to her resume.
Harvest Collective is a co-working and event space located in Bonita, CA serving entrepreneurs, community members, and faith-based organizations. It’s a beautiful place to hold workshops, private events, co-work and get things done while the kiddos are in school and even serves local churches as a gathering space.
Partnering with Sarah and the Harvest Collective team was truly a dream come true, and I want to show you just how everyone wins when local businesses and online communities come together for true collaborations.
Since HC had not yet launched & our girl gang wanted to come to the south bay, we thought a soft launch collab for HC + our official Launch in South Bay would be the perfect opportunity to showcase the space (just freshly finished, literally hours before!) and the vendors affiliated with Harvest Collective. Everyone had the opportunity to show up with their best foot forward and show the community all we had to offer.
It truly was a party! We had over 75 Boss Babes show up to network, create content (take photos for social media!) with a Podcast studio photo-op, gorgeous plant wall by House of Plants, Custom cut lettered sign by The Letter Chelle, tablescape and florals by Trendee Flowers & balloon garlands by Soiree by Ria and Luxan Balloon Bar as we danced to dance to the tunes brought by DJ Romiro. We also got to enjoy some delicious eats by HC’s preferred vendors- Salsa by Sabor a Baja, Grazing Table by SD Charcuterie, Sweets by Sweetstruck, Noodles by Leaf It Be, Coffee by Meka, Agua Fresca by More Life Liquid, and got all dolled up with a braid bar by Niki, Lip Bar by Jen & Bettina, and essential oils perfume bar from Suzanne at Mother Rockin! We even had a few giveaways including a much-needed lifestyle planner from LH Creative.
Lindsey McCoy Phoptography captured the event oh so well with the gorgeous photos (that lighting though…) and we really could not have asked for a better event. To say it was a success would be an absolute understatement. Our leaders Daphne & Ashly can take all the credit for this incredible, and very different model. They more than pulled it off and brought this resource to an entirely new community.
We’re excited to continue to host events in the South Bay each month. You can find our next one here and continue to partner with Harvest Collective as their preferred Marketing Strategist and host of a monthly co-working event for C&C Members happening at HC on the Last Wednesday of every month.
I personally am so grateful for the opportunity to work together with other locally owned businesses, bring exposure to them online, bring our community into their space and provide amazing content for them to use on social I am also incredibly grateful for the community we’ve built and will continue to build in the South Bay. Collaboration is the foundation of our community & I’m here for it!
